Disneyland Resort Introduces A Touch of Disney, a New, Limited-Capacity Ticketed Experience at Disney California Adventure Park Beginning March 18. This is just the special event to bring a little bit of Disney Magic back into our lives.

What is Touch of Disney?

Touch of Disney is a separate limited capacity ticketed experience for guests to explore the sights, sounds and flavors of the Disneyland Resort from inside Disney California Adventure Park. Guest will have the opportunity to enjoy world famous Disneyland cuisine and drinks, plus a chance to see their favorite characters and shop new merchandise.




A Touch of Disney is different than your traditional visit to the Disneyland Resort theme park. At this time it has been announced rides will be NOT available. There will be specially curated soundtrack of reimagined Disney songs that will be broadcasted throughout the event. You might also catch a wave from Mickey Mouse and pals. Guests will have the opportunity to make new memories with unique exclusive socially distanced photos and new photo spots that will only be available during the event.

Ticket Information

Event Dates: March 18th - April 5th, 2021 (on select dates Thursday-Mondays)


Location: Disney California Adventure Park
(park will only be open for guests with tickets)


Price: $75


Time: Noon to 8pm




Tickets must be purchased in advance online at Disneyland beginning March 4th until they are sold out. Tickets will NOT be available at the gates. (prices subject to change)

* Exclusive Shopping Experiences
* Unlimited Downloads of Disney Photopass taken during the event
* $25 Touch of Disney dining card towards the purchase of food and beverage (excluding alcohol)

Will there be Gluten Free options?

If you don't already know Disney takes food allergies and dietary restrictions very seriously. The don't often announce ahead of time a list of options that are guaranteed gluten free. They tell guests to consult with the chef upon arrival. My speculations are that if this event is anything like the Food & Wine festival that there might be a few options that can be accommodated gluten free, but at this time I honestly do not have an answer to this question.




There will be other restaurants open during the event where you can make a reservation or mobile order and in the past they have offered a gluten free menu.

Disneyland doesn't always disclose what is gluten free beforehand. The following suggestions listed in the Gluten Free Foodie Guide above might be gluten free friendly are based on my personal past experiences or that it is listed in the Disneyland app. Please verify for yourself with a chef when you arrive.

You can expect the highest regards for your safety and that Disney follows all covid safety protocols already set in place by the CDC and the state of California.
