For the optimal dining experience at Disneyland, my top recommendation is to have an early dinner at any of the quick-service restaurants that offer regular allergy menus. To avoid the crowds, take advantage of the convenient mobile ordering feature. This not only ensures your safety but also allows you to savor your meal without any worries. Keep in mind that gluten-free options for seasonal themed food at Disneyland are usually limited, so opting for quick-service restaurants with established allergy menus is your safest bet.
Now, let's talk about the candy on the treat trails. The good news is that the majority of the candy is gluten-free. However, please note that you won't have the opportunity to handpick your treats. The Cast members will kindly grab two pieces and place them in your bag. Additionally, you may come across non-candy alternatives like grapes, sliced apples, carrots, stickers, and sometimes even pirate's booty snacks. My suggestion is to take some time after the event to sort through your candy and donate any unwanted treats to someone else. Trust me, you won't want to miss the treat trails as they offer fantastic character interactions and often give you the chance to meet rare characters who rarely make appearances.

My Tips & Tricks for a Successful Evening
- You can arrive as early as 3pm to get into the Park (between 4-5pm for shorter entry lines)
- Don’t expect to be able to do everything!
- Plan Out your Evening ahead by creating a list of what is Most Important to you
- Bring an Empty Normal Sized Empty Backpack for Candy (1 per person)
- Most of the Candy is GLUTEN FREE (they also have fruit/veggies too)
- Don't Be Intimidated by the Long lines for the Treat Trails lines (they move fast)
- The Treat Trails where to get FREE Candy & Rare Character Interactions
- Eat Dinner Early (like around 5pm, mobile order if you can)
- Most of the Specialty Treats & Halloween Themed Food is NOT Gluten Free
- Some Restaurants and Stores Close Early
- Character Photo lines might be long (these are not the same Characters as the Treat Trails)
- Don't Miss the Frightfully Fun Parade (No Need to line up hours early, see Map below)
- Take Advantage of the short wait times on all the rides
- Dress Up or wear themed T-shirts (yes even adults can too but read costume guidelines)
