It has been years since I have been to see Disney on Ice show.  I was excited when I received an invitation to attend both the private media pre party as well as view the 1st evening of the show while it was on tour in Sacramento at the Golden 1 Center Arena.  At the media party they had activities for the kids and a special meet and greet with Mickey & Minnie Mouse.

The Disney on Ice Celebrates 100 years of Magic show was outstanding.  The characters were so entertaining as they were skating and lifting each other high in the air.  The music was phenomenal, I couldn't help but sing along to every single song with all my favorite Disney characters.  My most favorite part in the show was when all the Genie's from Aladdin came out to dance and sing!  The Genie's were hilarious while they danced around and formed a line while locking arms together.  There was certainly never a dull moment in the show, always something to keep one entertained never wanting to leave your seats!

This was also my first time at the Golden 1 Center Arena.  It is a beautiful venue both inside and outside.  There is plenty of seating at this venue giving you a great view of the show. Prices will vary depending on which section of seats you choose.

As for gluten free food options, the Golden 1 Center has you covered.

Select Gluten-Sensitive Options:

Block Butcher Bar – Mixed Salad
Café Bernardo – Garlic and Herb Fries
Selland’s – Chopped Salad; Pizza
Petra – Fries
El Jefe –  Spicy Pollo Burrito Bowl, Carnitas Bowl, and Pollo Nacho
Tandoori Palace – Veggie Kabob
Paragary’s –  Mixed Green Salad
Mulvaney’s B&L – Red Chili Pork Fries
Lowbrau – Duck Fat Fries and Dirty Duck Fat Fries
Centro Cocina – Street Taco’s Asada Tacos, Pollo Tacos, Carnitas Taquitos, Guacamole, and Nachos and Cheese
Porchetta House – Chicken, Turkey Legs, and Patatas Bravas
Big Cheese Dog House – Nachos
Lil’ Cheese Dog House – Nachos

Another option just a steps from the arena is at the DOCO.  Inside the DOCO are several places to grab a bite and I was most excited to learn the Pizza Press just opened (they offer a delicious gluten free crust).

I ended up ordering a gluten free cheese pizza from Selland's. It wasn't half bad, I would definitely get it again the next time I am visiting the Golden 1 Center. It is $7 for a rectangular slice, it's nice they don't overcharge just because it is gluten-free.
