Starting July 12 through July 28 the CA State Fair & Food Festival brings several new experiences for guests to enjoy.

New this Year at the CA State Fair
Food has always been a big part of the CA State Fair, but this year they have decided to make it more of a featured highlight by a slight addition to the name and offering a Food Festival Pass. The Food Festival Pass is $28 ($40 value) and allows you to use 4 special tickets for select food items/location.
(previously CA State Fair; now CA State Fair & Food Festival).
Instead of the costly weekend fireworks the CA State Fair & Food Festival has partnered with DISH to offer a Drone Light Up the Sky Show. Drone light shows are more environmentally safe, perfect for families and offer an alternative to those who are sensitive to the loud noise of fireworks. This show will be available on weekend nights and subject to change depending on weather & technology.

ESports Gaming Tournament

I imagine this exhibit is gonna be quite the popular spot for tweens, teens and adult gamers. They have several rows lined up with computers and all the gaming gear. You can also participate in Tournaments up on the big stage with other gamers. This is definitely the cool spot you will want to be on a hot Summer day. Bank of America Selfie Experience

This is every selfie lovers dream come true. Who wouldn’t love to take a photo with a Giant Donut, Giant chocolate chip cookie or even a giant Wonka bar? You can also jump into a giant ball pit while your friend captures it on boomerang, but don’t worry about germs because these balls are germ resistant and get a special cleaning everyday. So Get those cameras ready because this is going to be an Instagramable event!

Located in the cool air conditioned building is a fun interactive experience for kids. There are a variety of activities and fun learning stations teaching kids all about the super heroes of everyday life!
Also located in this same building are several different Counties information booths. These booths are also very photogenic.
Goat Mountain
Who doesn’t love to see all the new babies at the fair? These babies and their mamas will be hopping and climbing up a special made Goat Mountain with all their cuteness in tow.
