Bengal BBQ is a quick service mobile order restaurant in Adventureland at the Disneyland Resort Park.  They offer a variety of meats on a skewer stick, as well as veggies and bacon wrapped asparagus. It is a big hit with Disneyland guests because it is a quick snack or meal that you can eat while you on the go.

There is a lot of information out there some people saying that Bengal BBQ at Disneyland is gluten free and others say it can be gluten free with modifications. I'm here to give you the straight FACTS so that you can decide if it's worth the Risk for you!

I have spent countless hours each visit waiting in line just so I can speak with the Chef to check on this information.  Numerous times I have been told by the Lead Chef that the sauce currently used for the meat at Bengal BBQ is NOT Gluten Free.  They can make the meat sticks without the sauce but the Chef DID NOT Recommend this if you have a gluten allergy, intolerance or have celiac disease.

The entire grill is full of Cross Contamination from the sauce. I was also informed that the bread sticks "Tiger Tails" are warmed up on the same grill as well.  There is no guarantee that they will only be cooked on one section of the grill.  There is also no allergy menu offered here which is an indicator from Disney that this restaurant is not a viable option to guests with allergies.

There are a few options that might be Gluten Free at Bengal BBQ because they are not cooked on the grill at all.  The fruit comes pre-wrapped in plastic and the hummus platter comes in a container with a lid.

Please inquire with the Chef before consuming.

  • Dill Pickles (regular & spicy)
  • Pineapple Spear
  • Hummus Platter with veggies
  • Variety of Beverages

Now that you have all this information is it still worth the Risk for you?
