DISCLAIMER: Before ordering any gluten free food please ask for a Chef consult at Disneyland. Disneyland menu options, ingredients, and locations are subject to change. Options may change from season to season. Please do your own research to see if this could be an option for your dietary needs by verifying with chef before consuming.

#1. Gluten Free Monte Cristo

This delectable sandwich is not on the allergy menu but can be made gluten free with some advance preperations This item can only be pre-ordered in advance at Cafe Orleans and Blue Bayou. Please read this article for all the info on how to pre-order one before your trip.

#2. Pomme Frites with No Reservation

Normally you can order these at Cafe Orleans but not if you are gluten free. They do not have a dedicated fryer. But if you visit Red Rose Taverne in Fantasy Land you can order them with no problem and no reservation needed!

#3. Gluten Free Cakes for Special Occasions

This also has to be reserved in advance, I believe 4 week minimum. They offer a small cake for under $50 that feeds up to 6 people. It is only available for select sit down dining options. For more information please visit Disney site.

#4. Veggie Pizza at Boardwalk Pizza & Pasta

Normally you can only get cheese or pepperoni gluten free pizza but at Boardwalk Pizza & Pasta in Disney California Adventure if you ask nicely the chef will add veggies as a topping to your pizza.

#5. Firefly at Refreshment Corner

This one is quickly becoming not so secret, but what most don't realize is that it is also naturally gluten free. Only sold off the menu at Refreshment Corner in Disneyland off main street. Firefly is a bag of Fritos Chips with chili, cheese and jalapeño.

#6. Gluten Free Mickey Waffles at Disney Hotels Quick Service

Currently at two of the three Disneyland Resort Hotels you can get gluten free Mickey waffles at the Quick Service restaurants. For more info visit this article.

#7. Gluten Free Hot Dog Buns

Most people know that Award Weiner's in Disney California Adventure and Refreshment Corner in Disneyland serve hot dogs but what many don't relieve is that both locations have gf buns too. Award Weiners will also cook up a new batch of gf fries if requested. I personally love Award Weiners hot dogs over Refreshment Corner.

#8. Chicken from Poultry Palace is Gluten Free

Yes that is right the chicken drumsticks at Poultry Palace in Disney California Adventure are gluten free and in fact the entire menu is gluten free EXCEPT the Chimichangas!

#9. Mobile ordering is an option for Gluten Free

Read this article for more info, not available at all locations.

#10. La Brea Bakery has Gluten Free Bread

Yes, you read that correctly La Brea Bakery in Downtown Disney District has gluten free bread and actually a full gf menu for brunch and dinner.

#11. The Incredicookie at the Jack's Cookie Num Num Stand is Gluten Free

Yes, it even says so on the sign "Gluten Friendly" which means made without gluten ingredients. It is a thick sugar cookie with a jam center.

#12. There are 3 Prepackaged Gluten Free Treats

OMG It's Gluten Free is a dedicated gf facility and Disneyland offers their prepackaged Brownie, Chocolate chip Cookie and BlueBerry Muffin.

#13. DIY GF Brownie Sundae Hack

Purchase one of the OMG It's Gluten Free items then order ice cream or a shake and make your own creation. You can create a brownie sundae, a cookie sanwich or even a crumble on your milkshake.... the possibilities are endless!

#14. Not all the Gluten Free Buns Taste the same

It seems like an odd thing to say but it's true. Each eatery prepares the gf buns slightly different. Some toast them in the oven, warm them in the warming tray or even serve them as is. I personally think the toasted gf bun is the best, burgers from the Hungry Bear and also Red Rose Taverne are the best buns so far.

#15. Snacks with Character are Gluten Free but have No Character

Most of the prepackaged Snacks called Snacks With Character are gluten free but they are not in the shape of Disney Characters. I admit the name had me think they would be character shape, so I was disappointed.
