Are Dining Reservations: Gluten Free Disneyland
Do I need to make dining reservations for my Disneyland vacation? This is a common question I get asked, especially in the gluten free and food allergy community. The short answer is no you don’t need reservations to eat, but in some cases you do.
Before ordering any gluten free food please ask for a Chef consult at Disneyland. Disneyland menu options, ingredients, and locations are subject to change. Please do your own research to see if this could be an option for your dietary needs by verifying with chef before consuming.
I often hear from many families planning their trips to Disneyland that they are extremely overwhelmed when it comes to Disneyland Dining. I often hear things like "I didn't get any of the dining reservations I wanted" or "This was a last minute trip". I'm here to let you know it's ok, there will be plenty of Gluten Free options even without a reservation.
There is a flip side to Disneyland dining is Table Service dining in which you in most cases need a reservation in advance. You can start making table service reservations up to 60 days before your trip via the Disneyland app and website. This includes Character dining at the Disney hotels and some of the fancier sit down restaurants like Carthay Circle, Blue Bayou, Napa Rose and Lamplight Lounge. Depending on the size of your party it is possible to get a last minute table on the stand by list, but that isn't always an option.
My secret to getting Disneyland Dining Reservations is MouseDining. MouseDining is a service that does the hard work of finding a dining reservation for you. They offer both a free and monthly paid subscription. In my opinion, it is worth signing up for. So far I have gotten every reservation I have been searching for.
